Just curious to hear what you would have as your ultimate turbo setup if you were running straight motor, with no a/c, cruise, etc. This means what would have for a manifold, turbo, downpipe, exhaust, HG, etc, and if built motor things like compression ratios, head work, etc.

this is for fun, and to stir up some ideas for fellow members to come together and share their ideas, as me and many others i imagine aren't pro's when it comes to this

I'm easy...a simple Inline kit with a GT3076R tuned to the nuts with plenty of cooling mods so it can be tracked reliably.

 

I believe the GT3076R is an ideal turbo for the S. Some would argue GT35R but to me that is kinda overkill. I really like the Lovefab GT1 manifold though. Inline is a nice kit but there is something about the placement of the GT1 I love.

 

I'd pick my setup with the addition of meth injection. GT3082 ftw!

 

full race mani, white swain tech coated, gt35r, lanskey built motor, tial 44mm wastegate, syncronic bov, ip rear diff conversion made even more bullet proof, wiggins on everything, plus meth, i think that will do

The perfect kit for me would be one that does not require heatsheild removal , battery relocation , oil filter relocation oh and no cracking manifolds either ! I guess im sol ! Id love to put a turbo in my s2 but there simply is not a kit to my liking. This is why i went the sc route and put the turbo in my gsr .

 

Custom Full Race topmount mani + GT3076R w/ .82 AR w/ vband flange + 3" DP + full 3" titanium exhaust, no cats w/ Burns exhaust tip.
