The only thing I would've changed are my wheels. I would've chosen more aggressive offsets. Instead of
17x8.5 +58 I would get 17x9 +~50

If i did it over again....

Whatever gets me to 450WHP in the most reliable manner. Don't care if its SC or Turbo - I just want to get in the car and drive.

K-Pro for emission purposes.

949 17x10" wheels

and enough gauges/ 1 serial to monitor everything

I did it wrong the first time, thats why this time i am taking my time and building my car EXACTLY the way I want. As far as Exterior I may paint the bumper but I love the Work Wheels and OEM hardtop with the AP2 Lip

My Turbo build is going as planned, just costing a ton of money

If I could do it over again I would just take my time with one setup instead of literally buying and reselling 6 damn configurations. Im afraid the exhaust whore-ism just cannot and WILL not ever be cured. I did find it interesting that you said oem shocks springs and not so much sway bars. Have you had aftermarket springs or coilovers and just prefer stock the stuff?

I am happy with my build. It was good to go from stock to 305whp with the VTSC. This March is 400whp. If that isnt enough, I will wait til 2011 and drop the cash on a 550whp turbo kit. But it is good to go in increments so that I dont get jaded by just going to 550whp and not knowing the inbetweens.

If I knew what I know now, I would have waited a while longer.

I put the Inline Pro turbo kit on my car in 2004. At that time they did not have a oil relocation kit. So I had a shop make one for me and they used dash 12 lines which led to starving oil pressure. Spun number 4 rod journal.

Then I decided to go stroker. Only TODA had a stroker kit. I still have the kit. Used a shop in Miami to sleeve me a Darton closed deck block. Was that a disaster. That block went through three builds and at least six HG changes.

Finally found a Benson sleeved block lieing around. It was bored to 89mm. So now I have a 89.5 mm bore with CP pistons with a TODA bottom end.

Precision turbos, well I am now on my fourth. If the 6262 goes out, I am done with Precision. Their warranty extremly sucks. Customer service is extremly lacking. Only reason I bought another one is because I had a credit to use up, so saved a little money.

I love my Apexi gauges with AEM Uego. I learned just to solder so you don't have a bad ground. Crimps suck.

All in all it has been an expierence. I could have been spared a couple of bad times. With crap going wrong.

I am just glad everything is working out. I just check on everything; bolts, mounts, fluids.

Here is to a much better decade.
