Default which is your preference for oil feed?

oem oil temp sensor location or oil filter relocation sandwich adapter plate that has location for a temp sensor/feed line?

i may stray away from the oem temp location b/c one time a had the adapter break off while driving one day which led to a huge headache and having the car towed. which do you guys prefer for what reasons and which will have the best pressure? THANKS!!!

I believe you're referring to the factory oil pressure sensor (directly above the oil cooler/filter); there isn't an oil temp sensor from the factory. That is where most people end up tapping for an oil feed. Personally, I'm using the vtec oil pressure switch location as my oil feed (AEM doesn't look for the vtec oil pressure switch).

If you're not going to use it for an oil feed, you'll need a 10mm x 1.25 bolt (write up by Siadam: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/777...-bolt-install/ )

Why would we? The only thing that port has to do with vtec is to see if there is enough oil pressure. The passage for oil to the head is the same for the OEM pressure switch location and vtec pressure switch.

EDIT: I was WRONG! I works like you think it would :

Methink everyone assumes it's a "verify VTEC engaged" switch rather than a "OK to VTEC" switch

VTEC not engaged: below 7 psi
VYEC engaged: above 57 psi
