It's my front wheel drive turbocharged S2000 with a hardtop welded on lol.

Rustoleum Satin Black Paint sold by the quart. Properly mixed with thinner and sprayed with a gravity feed paint gun. Any other questions going about it just ask away.

there was a guy here before that HAD a matte black S, but he crashed it 7 months ago if I remember correctly. do a search, you might find it...

I was debating about painting the S that color but I decided against it because I rarely track the car. If I was building a track only car I would paint it like that in a heartbeat. Goodluck...

ha, typical. anyway, i do remember seein one painted matte black. looked sick to me. the process used to paint that eg hatch is definately the way to go for a clean flat paint job. and that c-west car doesnt really count.

I remember seeing a matte black S2K in a magazine a while back. All I remember was that it was turbocharged and was owned by a woman living out in Hawaii. I can't for the life of me remember what magazine it was, but it looked surprisingly good.

In any case, I think a matte black S2 would look sweet. Here are some examples of cars (which I think look pretty damned good in matte black):
