ok guys, i just bought an 03 gpw s2k with the tan/cream interior but just now i saw on hardtopguys website i believe or the handa-accessories one that they are selling the SAME shift knob i have and it says its the 02 shift knob. the 02 cars come with taht shift knob and was wondering why my car has it if its an 03? anyway i can check to see if its an 03 FOR SURE like codes or anything on the body?

Anyway, did I answer your question? the 02-03 knobs are the exact same.

 

00-01 have the same shiftknob(aluminum with no leather wrap)

02-04 have the same shitknob(aluminum with leather wrap)

 

'04 has the same style but is unperforated.
