Sorry for foolish question guys. But I love the look and was wondering if any mods need to be done for them to fit well. Spacers? Fender modifications?

Could I go ahead and purchase them of off the site above and expect perfect fitment? Thx!

I quite like the look of those. I am also interested in what was required to have them basically fit the way they are on your car. Good looking wheel and excellent color choice

I'd like to ask the question again since at first I was lazy to read the whole thread. Since I did that I am more aware of what I do need to run these.

I am looking to order them from..
http://www.wheelsrims.net/acura-nsx-inventory.html

1) I understand that for the front's I need a 10mm Spacer. Correct?

2) I am also looking to run them on stock high, not lowering my car. What tire size should I go with? Should I go with a small stretched tire in the back because of clearance issues?

3) Last but not least if I DO drop the car 1inch MAX.. will I have any clearance issues in the back? If so what tires should I go with then.

I am going to be honest, I am not savvy with tire sizes and so on. Also not loaded so would like to get this right.

Thank you every one!

I just stumbled onto this thread as I'm trying to go opposite as I have both an NSX and s2000.

I'm trying to buy some ADVAN RGII wheels in white for the s2000 and want to be able to interchange them on the NSX once in a while.

You can read more about my saga detailed here:

http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=107220

Anyways now you guys have me thinking, I have the OEM NSX wheels/tires from my 04 nsx so might try it on the s2000 just for fun. Mine are OEM color though and not white

btw this is the 2002-2005 NSX wheel sizing (per NSXPrime)

17" x 7" front rims: 7.68 kg (16.93 lb), +60
17" x 9" rear rims: 8.94 kg (19.71 lb), +56

According to an NSX prime member he's running 18's all around on his NSX

18x7.5, +48 up front running 215/35/18
18x9.5, +38 in rear running 273/35/18

So 18x7.5 fronts, +53 (s2000) vs. +48 (nsx) is a diff. of 5mm

18x9.5 rears, +60 (s2000) vs. +38 (nsx) is a diff. of 22mm

Is the REAR difference correctable with say a 20mm spacer in the rear?

IF I'm ordering rims for my s2000, what size/offset should I buy that can still fit on the NSX with or without spacers....

thanks
rick

here's some pics of how the OEM wheels site against the stock fender:

ok first things first my setup is as follows......

Front: 225/45/17 with a 10mm spacer, wheel specs are 17x7 +60 offset ( they will fit fine without but they set in a little more that the stock wheels)

Rear: 255/40/17 with NO spacer, wheels specs are 17x9 +56 offset

I reference to the site you posted it is simillar to the frist place i tried, thoses are prices for repaired wheels and chances are that they will have none in stock....I tried 3 different places and was only able to find one front wheel.

Retail price for these wheels from Acura is 1500$ each for the front and 1750$ each for the rear.......

I found mine on Ebay

1600 shipped with tires

The question about being able to swap wheels with your NSX is interesting, The NSX spec 18x9.5 will not fit the S2k... remember when you have a + offest adding a spacer will lower the number. so if you have a +38 offset and you put on a 20mm spacer the actual offset will be +18. that setup would result in the wheel sticking out about a 1/3 of the way past the fender

the offset would have to be in the high +40's to low +50's for it to look good and then you will have to worry about fender clearence if the car is lowered more than an inch.

hope this helps
