Default 17" ASA's - They Fit!

First pics of the ASA's from the Tire Rack. Thanks Jim! 17x8 17x9 The rears weigh only about 17.5 lbs and the offset is 63. Stock ride height (no 4x4 jokes please)

215/45 255/40 Yoko AVS Intermediates

I've got to burn up the molding compound and break these tires in to give you my performance impressions... the car definitely wants to follow road irregularities more than the stock setup did.

I guess I'm not totally immune to a little *bling-bling*

Do you know if these things have a clearcoat on the lip? It doesn't look like it to me. If not, then I'll have to hit them up with a little Mother's.

Very nice setup. For 17s, they look just right.

Thanks! For looks - I really wanted to go with the Work Meister S2R in 18" but they were

1. WAY more $$$

2. pretty heavy vs. the ASA's

I just didn't want to take the performance hit... the car works so well from the factory and the 17's seemed like a good compromise!

Looks great! With those rims, I think different brake rotors would look much better. Thats what I had in mine when I thought of those rims.

My pictures can give you some idea how the new revised ASA rims fit.

I love the wheels.
Good classic 5 spoke design with unique touch as well as plenty of open space for easy cleaning and best of all you can't beat the price for the forged rims like these.
Should be even more stunning if these were available in 18.
Can't wait to close the gap a little after lowering.
