Did someone say stretch and poke?! What's half of a 235/35? I'm still alive after thousands of miles and many, many spirited drives. Granted, I'm meaty flush now, but I made it regardless.

I don't think it looks that bad. I guess the biggest issue I find is that you can buy the same width RPF1s with safer offsets (+35, +45) which allow you to run wider tires and look pretty much the same.
I'm not sure why everyone is flipping tits over this. Nothing outrageous and youve acknowledged the handling effects. People need to accept that there is more than one way to drive, modify, and enjoy the S2000. Your fitment is not ruining the community. The assholes that want to judge you for doing what you want to your own car are making the community less enjoyable.
