Thought this was an interesting find. I've seen pictures of the original SSM S2000 concept, but I've never actually seen videos of it!

There's a few cool tidbits in there like an original 8,000 RPM redline and a customizable LCD tach! Too bad the technology wasn't there yet so it appears Honda had to settle for the gauges we have now.

 

Cool find. Looks like they kept the body line from the concept for production. Thank god they changed the headlight and taillights, cause the concept looks hideous. Lol

OMG, I just realized the spoon front bumper is modeled after this concept. Crazy!

automatic?

 

Yeah I noticed the automatic part too. So glad they decided to change it up from the SSM. Funny how they originally wanted it to be an automatic,

 

i challenge someone to make their s2000's interior identical to this.

 

Awesome find, I think the super 90's soundtrack makes the video. Interesting how much of the SSM carried over into production, most of the lines are really similar.
