2 coats of carnuba over synthetic
jl9000- not sure i understand what you are saying...
as long as the first coat of wax hardens, you can apply another over it, and also over that one- and so on and so on.
concours cars usually have multiple coats of product (synthetics and/ or carnubas)...
i had 20 coats of zaino on mine with who knows how many coats of carnuba before my last polish (which, of course removes all of them).
the real question, imo, is how many coats and what combo produces the deepest, wetest shine... and if you go beyond that are you just wasting product?
(and several of us in the wash & wax forum would say- who cares?!! its the process that we love as much as the end result!)
