I should scan some of my Portland pics and post them on Photopoint...
maybe after I finish writing this 2-3 page paper for school
No, I just know how to get into the teams' hospitality area without a pass (and I'm not a girl!) You should see the picture with Paul Newman from 1999!

Funny thing since you mentioned Paul Newman.
At the Toronto Indy, a buddy of mine and myself were walking down the paddock area when up from behind some guy knocks me over on a little moped. He gets off and helps me to my feet. Apologizing for hitting me, I notice it's Mr. Newman!! ofcourse like an idiot the first words out of my mouth are " My mom loves you" he kinda laughed, signed an autograph for my mom, and asked me not to sue.

Our experience with Paul Newman at Gateway in 1999 was that we saw him in his hospitality area posing with all the chubby wives of his sponsors. As we approached him with pen and paper for an autograph, he waved us away. At first we thought he was trying to run us off but he wasn't too excited at us so we just milled around in the shadows. After he finished posing, he came over to us and took us deeper into the shadows. He said that he couldn't give us his autograph right there in front of all those people because they'd want one too. We stood there and talked while he gave both of autographs and posed for pictures. Just as we finished, the chubby wives converged on him wanting autographs and he had to retreat back into his motor home.
Really a nice guy!
