Yamaha will be producing the motors.

2.4L Inline 4 210HP
2.5L V6 230HP
3.0L V6 260HP
3.5L V6 280-330HP

That's a chopped version of the upcoming IS430 (which has the same body as the current IS300s.)

damn they better not ruin one of the only beautiful sedans that is on the market. It makes me want to run out an grab an is300 before they turn it into that hunk of crap...

WHats this rumor of a IS430 bound for US Shores later this year. Surely they won't go throught the trouble of making an IS430 for one year only.

I dont think Lexus will go into the 2.4L Inline 4 in the US. Lexus want to stay with the V6 to keep the IS300 in the same category as the BMW, AUDI, and Mercedes.
