Wow, looks great Gid! Are these your new track wheels?? I'm going to need to stop by the shop to check em out
Thanks Tim! This will be street/track. I ended up going with 205 fronts and 225 rears in the RE-01s so there should be significantly less understeer than the stock 175 fronts.

Swing by anytime! I just got a new Hunter Roadforce balancer so we can keep your race setup on point.

I doubt it. The RPF1's are pretty friggin light. It would be interesting to see the comparison though.

I had the base wheels (16" front, 17" rear CAST). These RPF1's at 16's all around are about 2lbs lighter per wheel in front and 6lbs lighter per wheel in the rear. They actually come out to about the same weight as the forged elise wheels but are significantly less expensive. (and better looking IMHO)

thats a pretty big weight difference. im kinda amazed that the cast lotus wheels are that much heavier. lotus is a weight nazi kind of a company. i guess they just wanted owners to shell out for the forged wheels.

did you go w/ the same series tire all around? the back looks too tall of a tire..

205/? 225/?

for the car should be 225/50.16 rear because stock is 225/45.17
and the front should be like 205/45.16 because oem front is 175/55.16

maybe urs is right just looks like the rear is too tall which wouldnt be good for handling, or accel, but only good for top end.

not trying to be negative. thats just what i noticed first.. anywho the car looks great... and weight lost on stock wheels=amazing cause the stocks weigh like nothing.. congrats
