Congrats on the 09 Murano
My wife and I recently traded in our 05 Murano Copper for an 09 in Merlot we went for the LE minus the Nav package and Hard Drive.
The Ipod interface is pretty good, it takes a little bit to remember what button will take you where.
We just got back from a 600 mile trip and averaged around 23 mpg. It was nice to just put that Ipod on random and let it go through the 3300 plus songs I currently have loaded.

I personally would have chose a used FX35 over the new 09 Murano, but whatever makes you happy. Hope you enjoy it!

What was the break in period supposed to be?? Dealer never mentioned anything about it go figure. We just turned 2000 miles over the weekend. We have had it since the 28th of Feb.
we kept switching speeds and revs on the trip so i think we should be ok. never floored it either

the FX is too small inside and couldnt justify paying the price when the baby is gonna make some sort of mess in teh back.
I actually preferred the last gen murano's looks. I'm sure the new one will age better in the future, but its looks like Nissan is trying to look too futuristic. Kind of like what subaru did with the tribeca at first. The new tribeca is much better looking. But the murano is much more practical than the fx for sure.

I do agree on the size. For a "suv" its pretty tiny. But I would find it hard to switch from an S to a "standard" suv. Still would want something sporty. But my car attention span is probably shorter than most....
