The Pilot shares the same chassis, mechanical components, and 3.5L engine with the MDX. I have been in a MDX and the Pilot seems larger inside as well as "bulkier" outside. Must be why it is $15k less

MDX obviously has more luxury appointments but it seems badging is the major difference here.
