how did you get a ticket for "improper use of a dealer tag" ?

i have a dealer tag. i didnt even know there was such thing as "improper use of a dealer tag." The proper way to use it is put it on your car and drive. What is improper use, wearing it as a hat?
thats what i was thinking, but its no points and like everybody's is stateing "i got off easy" so i wasnt gonna argue. i love how at 1st they are always like... "HAH!, no reg or inspection, im throwin the book at this guy!!".. then i point to the plate..

But more importantly, it gave you an opportunity to show your character.

That was great. You have any of the famous donut-eating jokes to tell me too? I've never heard those.

I would of hammered you more just because you sound like a dumb kid that needs for his pocket book to be punished to get the point across.
he's actually been very level headed this entire thread. he's taken advice and said 'my bad.'

you, on the other hand, are taking his comment too seriously.

Anybody that hasn't done their fair share of spinning donuts or burnouts or street racing here n' there shouldn't be driving a sports car!
oh yeah, doing donuts and street racing is a great way to find out what sports cars are all about take it to the track...then maybe you'll have half a clue what sports cars are about and what they're capable of.

Actually, the OP has edited his original post for something a smidge less inflammatory .

I may be wrong here, but you sound like a cop?! If you are then I think you should be worrying about a little bit bigger problems then kids driving around in tuner cars with "too loud of exhaust" or "your music is too loud" or "your car is too low" or "window tint"... I understand that's your job but you sound like the stereotypical cop that makes a terrible name for all other cops and are the reason cops are so disliked!!

whatever that's my 2 cents and for the record I'm not saying cops are bad or I hate cops but I am saying that I think every now and then they get caught up with quotas and forget what their jobs are really for... to protect and serve
"To protect and serve" is a motto, the job of law enforcement is to (duh) enforce the law. Luckily, as a voting citizen of this country, there's a handy system set up that lets YOU influence the laws and even help create new ones. So rather than bitching about how the police aren't doing what you think they should be doing, why don't you try writing your representatives or figuring out how to change laws that you feel are unfair or don't serve a valid purpose?
