Hey all just thought id share a few pictures of the car i finally bought 6 weeks ago.
Id been on the hunt for some time and then the right car in the right colour came up at the right money, all be it not in great nick, so a 150mile drive and one boat later i was home with my first s2000
the paint work was in terrible condition
Thats a 50/50 shot of the front wing, and the iphone camera doesnt even show how bad it really was
A full days cleaning later and finally i had a car in half decent condition
Less than a week from the car hitting my driveway and the modification bug begun with some bc racing coilovers, just a minor adjustment in height while i decided on wheels....
Less than 10 days after that i found a set of wheels id always wanted, had them sent off to be re polished and painted to have them perfect, got the lend of an arch roller and my wheels were on
and then to sort the height out
I wasnt really sure what to do with the centrecaps and nuts at this stage so decided to have them polished as well with the view of they can be painted if i dont like them. I do. I love them polished, i think they contrast with the wheel perfectly
and a few more pictures showing the overall look of the car so far...
Coilovers are bc racing
wheels are advan sa3r 17x7.5&8.5 et42... i also have 2 17x8 and 3 17x9 sa3rs, still to get reconditioned and go on in a few months time. can never have too many 3 spokes
after all that I had some audio equipment left over from a previous car so set about a quick sub amp setup
Just a budget pioneer sub and amp, however i have plans to upgrade to a JL sub amp and front components setup, it wasnt loud enough, now its louder but I want more
Ive also got a mugen style spoiler and a change of front bumper planned but for now the cash flow has run out.... until at least the next payday comes round....
Ill keep this updated, anny comments feel free
