6000k HID bulbs
well like i said i dont want anything higher thank 6k. i agree i would still like to see infront of me. i think that 6k bulbs would be perfect for what im looking for that more blue look
Do you want to see from inside the car that your lights are blue? That is not too bright (no pun intended) in my perspective. If you think your lights are not blue, have a friend do some drive by's in your car and you will see how colorful they are. The cleanest, most visible light out there is white light. The HIDS on our cars are colorful when it matters- when people see your lights from a distance. They are white when you need them to be- inside the car.
But if aesthetics is your focus, blue isn't bad.

It looks nice, until you realize you can't see anything, right? It is amazing how many people are wanting to "upgrade" their lights lately. This thread is informative.

The 3000k light output is less white and has fewer lumens. It is yellow and not as pure or bright as 4300k. I would say no to this as well. That would be a definite downgrade.
If you like that yellow look, go for it.
school yourselves before you mess with your lights
www.hidplanet.com/forums/ is a great forum, they know their stuff
but to give you an idea, one of their favorite doners for proper HID retrofits are in fact S2000 projectors. That says it all... experts turn to the S because it has some of the brightest most focused lamps of ANY car.

TRUE STATEMENT- Upgrading (actually turns into downgrading) the bulbs to a different kelvin gives you less visibility.
But what about those that do the washer in the cutoff??? Will that mod give you less visibiltiy as well?
I don't ever plan on changing my lights in anyway for the record. I just wanted to ask the question for those that might wonder
