Did you notice the part where i said "LET ME KNOW IF ITS ME OR IT IS BS." does that mean i am SAYING HIS comment is BS...?? hmm NO I'm not due to the fact that i said is it me "OR" and no where in that
ing statement did he say over the phone...either you read another post or your
ing blind yourself.
ING RETARD? OR YOU ARE TOO IMMATURE TO STAND UP FOR WHAT YOU SAID? THE POINT WAS THERE WAS NO POINT TO ASSUME THINGS WHEN YOU DONT KNOW
LIKE I SAID, YOU HAVE BEEN STARTING
DRAMA WITH OTHER MEMBERS HERE. READ WHAT YOU WROTE AND THINK BEFORE YOU MAKE A COMMENT. SAME $hit APPLIES THE COMMENTS THAT YOU MADE ON THE MUGEN HT THREAD
I know each and every one of us has our own style, but I really would have gone a different route with the car.
While I give him credit for having a ton of cash to throw down and having picked some very high-quality parts, it seems to me as if he got all the pieces right but screwed up the assembly instructions.
My own personal opinion:
- The wing placement as others have said is asinine.
- Even with the rear over fenders (and even to a small degree the fronts) it still appears that he went too wide with the wheels. They don't appear to fit well at all.
- I think the color combo is horrible (red with suzuka interior?)
- Did he tint the windshield?
- If the article is right (and we all know they rarely are). It lists only a Spoon diff houwing and an aftermarket LSD. Correct me if I'm wrong but the Spoon diff isn't made to handle much more than stock HP so how is that thing going to hold up to the shock its going to get from the ATS clutch clamping down on 825hp if he's trying to get it moving quickly?
Long story short it looks like he had some kind of bout of JDM epilepsy and just had a spasm and threw everything he could at that car whether it worked well together or not.
Just goes to show that $$$ != taste.
But mad props on throwing all that money into it!

i've talked to him before, sounds like a nice guy.. Your comments are all welcome, im sure -- good or bad.. Everyone likes to know what others thinks of their car, if you admit it or not. I'm sure some people had bad buying experiences with him, but give the guy his 10 seconds of glory. He made cover on Superstreet. Thats a big victory for all s2000 owners, we should be happy for the guy. If he's making 700 hp or 852 hp, who knows, maybe we should get him on one of our reputable dyno shops ie.. church automotive and see what he is really putting out. I would for sure like to see that. anyhow thats my 2 cents.. Congrats chris.
I agree with you Greg, but the fact is, most of the info on the mag was provided by the owner of the car. It just comes to show you how reputable these guys know the difference between what is what. I've always looked up to SS for providing great info. Lots of people say, if you want the right info read SS, if you want the bs info, read Import Tuner. How ironic is that, both magazine are full of BS. They should seriously contribute a little more time in doing research with each and every vehicle that gets released or publish in their mag.
Why state it is a 7 point roll cage?? Isn't that a 6 point with a missing top bar? What...the editors or the person that decided to put his car on the cover couldn't tell the difference between a 4 point or 5 point or maybe even a 6 point cage?? That's just plain stupid.
Maybe one day I " MIGHT " be in SS or Import tuner and someone might just say, " this guy is full of BS. " just because of previous accounted events on misinformed information or being unknowledgable on parts. I just think the truth behind this whole dilemma is basing on the right facts on what Chris really has on his car.
Overall, I respect Chris and congrat on a job well done!

Gotta give credit however for quality parts and making the cover
