I remember watching this live. Best 10 minutes of racing that I have ever watched. And GT@ was in reference to class not car.

^ IDK if there is a better man behind the wheel of a vette than Mag...

Vette just needed to find a way past the 911 that was blocking at every turn.

I can tell you that from my little experience in kart racing, (both as the slower driver blocking, and the faster driver being blocked) that when you are actively blocking a faster car, at some point the car behind will get a little frustrated, and a little desperate, and make a move that is going to look a bit dirty, and probably cause a collision.

There have been several debates about this specific incident. Some say that Mag bumped him on purpose, some say that Berg brake checked him to upset the vette. Honestly, I don't think that anyone outside of ALMS knows for sure what happened. What I didn't like was Berg driving Mag to the wall.

It was a great last 10 minutes of a race, and hap it not ended in a crash, it would have been perfect. But watching it, I knew that it had to end in a crash. Anytime you have one car who wants to get by the slower car in front of him, and the car in front is doing every blocking move he has to not get passed, one has to give, or there will be a collision.

As far as who was at fault, if you are a 911 fan, it was Mag's fault. If you are a Vette fan, then it was Berg's fault...

whether Berg checked him or not that shouldn't matter. if you can't keep your cool when shit happens then you're going to lose it. if i was driving the vette, that Porsche would of been spinning to the wall on that last lap.

jhooby, lets see that 911!
