What's up with the enormous hood-fender gap? Either way, the car and wheels match awesome.

"As promise...here are some updated/teaser pics. Some of you guys know that the front fenders and rear quarter panels are 50mm and 40mm wider, respectively.

However, that's just not wide enough for me. I had the body shop modified the front fenders by 15mm and 10mm to fit these wheels (and almost any other wheels for that matter) without rubbing. Enjoy for now! "

Yeah, I read that. I thought that if they body shop was involved they would widened the hood to matched the ill-aligned fenders. IMO, it's pretty tacky if you need to mis align widebody fenders to match the wheels, no matter how wide the wheels/tires are.

Custom wider hood FTMFW!

I wouldn't call it "ill-aligned" or "mis-aligned" since both of the fenders were widened equally to run the wheels/tires and not rub. The gaps aren't as bad as you imagined. As long as they're both equal gaps, and the hood fits/flows nicely, IMO.

You need to see it in person to realize how much wider it is compare to a non-modified Amuse GT1 fenders/kit.
