Default about to buy 2000 s2k

I was just wondering im about to buy a used s2000 and was curious of how the ride and power is of the vehicle it is gonna be a daily driver... how does it drive in the winter?? I have had a 00 mustang gt before with bald tires and went threw the whole winter and managed to survive... Please if anyone can help me with letting me know the common s2k's problems if there is any... is it a good buy??... How realible is it... im looking to buy a 2000-2002 s2k with anywhere from 10,000 miles to 27,000 miles... Are there any tranny prb's??? If anyone can help to research and learn more bout the car please let me know thanx..

I think you hit the nail on the head when you said 'research'. I hate telling people to search, but you sound like you don't know much about this car. there is a ton of info on this site that can help you answer all of these questions.

and check out the thread below for a start, g'luck!

i have an '00 model... great car-
remember, its a honda!
my only comment to you is it does not handle well in wet or snow with the stock tires.
otherwise, a great car- some of the early cars had tranny grinds- but if the one you are looking at does not, then its prob o.k.
