Okay...so you'll risk your life for a car? Even worse, for someone else's car? He already said the other guy was bigger and carrying a sledge hammer.

Slow down tough guy...
slow down for what. bigger doesn't always mean stronger. If was brave enough to yell at the guy then he could have done more. What if just yelling caused the guy to do something to him. From the guys reaction it should have been obvious he was only interested in destroying the vehicle. However rather then yell at him I would have looked for something to have in my hand for the encounter just in case.

I've witnessed plenty of times where the little guy has come out on top of a fight, you would be surprised how many people have no clue how to fight or defend themselves.

^ or just grabbed people to run out in numbers. that place must have been packed. but what's done is done. in situations like that, nobody is rational.

you're talking about chances here.

Sure the little guy MIGHT win but 1 serious blow from that sledgehammer and you can say byebye to your life. I seriously don't know how many times you've witnessed this but a lot of times, bigger guys DO have advantages, especially if he's able to toy a sledgehammer easily according to the guy. Seriously man, we're all sad that an S2000 was destroyed like this but afterall it's just a car and nobody needs to risk their life saving it.
