whoa car looks AMAZING!!! what seats are those? they look very smiliar to the Recaro RS-G ASM edition. Also, are u matching your door panels with the same material? wow, words can't explain how beautiful your car is. can't wait to see done.
Thanks mang!!

They are Recaro SPGs. They are not ASM, they are custom upholstered. The reason I didn't entertain the ASM Recaros is because I wanted to match the door panels and other parts, so I ended up just doing a custom upholstery on the whole thing...

I just don't get it...yes he has very high quality expensive jdm parts on his car, but his car looks stock pretty much. Painted cf looks just like painted metal. So why is this car soooooo much nicer than say, a white ap2 with an amuse bumper and bronze ce28s? It's nice, yes, but the nicest car on the board? If you didn't know everything was amuse would you still say that?
IMO, what makes a car "special" is not the parts. If they compliment each other and add to a cohesive, attractive end result then they are worth it, regardless of price or rarity... There are many pieces which on their own, are breathtaking... I can think of so many parts that I would love to have on my car. Don't think I don't like the hardcore, over the top racing cars... I adore them!! I love the J's wide fenders, 3D GT wings, the ASM over fenders; the Spoon front bumper; the list goes on and on... But when putting a car together you have to show a little restraint. There's tons of cars on this forum that I looove which don't have high dollar parts on them...

This is what differentiates a car that you see on the street that has all these really cool parts, etc and you think, "wow thats a cool car"; to one that doesn't jump out at you immediately, but there's just something about it, you don't know what exactly... It just exudes this presence, that just makes you go crazy. Its not any particular piece, its just that car, is just so... you don't know... But its got tons more personality than that car with all the cool parts...

With that said however, it takes a certain type of person with a more sensitive "eye" to discern those differences. But thats whats cool about this whole thing, different strokes for different folks...

You might think they're "just" bronze CE28ns... But I can guarantee you that if you see the car in the flesh, they won't "look" like normal bronze CE28ns... They're offset; their width; their center caps; their tires, etc. All these elements combine to give a substancially different feel to the car. Yes, to the layman, they will look the same, but to the connoseur....

Judas Priest that's a good looking car! I'd be dying inside if I knew I had something THAT freakin awesome chillin in a resto shop for the past 4-6 months! You have incredible patience Diez.
and thats just with this thread.... I actually posted an earlier thread with pics of the parts!!! I've had the parts for a year!!! And I've just been waiting this long to have my friend paint my baby!!!! After you've waited that long, whats a few more months.. Some people have asked me why I didn't get the J's wide fenders etc. Well, back then they were probably just a concept at J's Racing, who knows...

The same shop did them. They have an upholsterer that works with them...
