I had put Diez in touch with Modified Mag before he disappeared. Not sure what ever came of it.

He's probably a true man and doesn't care about Mag features, I know I wouldn't. I hope he told Clint Davis "whoever he is" to suck a fat one.

Real men build cars for fun, not popularity.

Different strokes for different folks. It's nice to be honored for your hard work. I can only speak for myself, but I don't build cars for magazines. If they land a shoot, that just means that I built it to my desires and it turned out well.

Not sure most men would want their builds exploited to the public for such simple gratification. I'd like my product to represents it's ability in a performance enviroment like the track, not in the pages of a magazine, but like you said, different strokes.

FWIW, I'd be embarrassed to post a magazine feature on the internet if I hadn't won a performance event like a TA, or D1 Comp. What's the point of putting that much money/time/effort into a performance automobile if you aren't going to exploit it's performance?
