well sorry to say guys but yet another S is down, hopefully totalled cause i dont want to drive it anymore. I was going through a round-a-bout near my gf's house and a big ass blue tacoma truck driven by a 70 year old dude plowed through his yield sign going at least 40pmh and hit my rear quater panel and the damage goes all the way up to the front bumper. I am perfectly fine thank god just a little soreness on my lower back from the center console divider. I am quite impressed how safe the car is from taking the impact, being that the car is small and all. It's been grand ya'll but my S days are finished i didnt want it to end this way

the whole passenger side of the car is done, passenger door done, rear bumper and front bumper got ripped off, trunk bent rear control are is broke(thats all that was visibly damaged from the wheel well) what are my chances it gets totalled out?

 

Sucks about the car but happy you're ok. Given that the car is 7 years old, I'd be surprised if it wasn't totaled. There's likely heavy frame damage at 40 mph.

Do you not want to drive an s2k after getting hit or were you thinking of selling the car beforehand?

Judging the age and the type of damage, I would say the repair cost would outway the car value, but could be wrong. My bet is write off.

Time to strip it and sell the mods

ya i had it for sale on here but not any more. front bumper is actually fine besides for the screw tabs on each side being torn. ill see i can take off next time i go to the body shop
