your vents look better than the other guys b/c they are smaller. they don't go up the bumper as high. great job!

Thanks all for the great comments. I was expecting massive hatred!!

It was pretty easy and I followed tunerjettas (thanks) protocol. But it's pretty straitforward.
If you have the tools, it's definitely an at-home job.
Just TAKE YOUR TIME.

I would recommend cutting while it's ON the car, as it's stiffer and wont bend the urethane as you cut away...

How did I make it perfect? Well, tape how you want them, triple check symmetry, and go slowly!! Then sand with some course paper (with tape still one), then sand again with fine paper. Then remove tape and apply your grills!

I'll get close up pictures tomorrow!
And Version - Im ALL on that Starbucks Sundays HAHAA!!!

i keep looking at this and loving it more and more every time i see it. it makes me want to go hack up my bumper

has anyone PS the garage defend type vents on the AP1 bumper??? i think that might look good as well. just a thought

i like it but yet i dont. i thnk the width of the cuts from top to bottom are to wide maybe smaller width cuts. and something in the back to hide all the opeing? NOT MESH but something else.
