I see them on Ebay every now and then, In my opinion, a front shock tower bar is one of the most money wasting mods for an S 2000 as far as performance goes. Just look at that giant factory cross brace that the bar is bolted to (under where the stock airbox would be). There is no way a couple of aluminum tubes could be stiffer than that. Now for the bling factor, a front shock tower bar makes a big impact under the hood. It may be the most cost effective bling mods you can do.

The shock tower brace is really just a cosmetic piece in this car.
The only reason I got a strut tower bar is to lean on whenever I work on the car. I agree that strut brace looks cheap... just look at how it is mounted to the chassis. The plates aernt even finished off and looks paper thin.
