AP1 getting beat by an Ep3 Civic Type R
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSHm9...eature=related
dont think ive seen this vid posted before butI gotta call
on this race because this episode was highlighting the civic type r and it wouldnt make much sense for it to lose, which also explains why they chose a wet track.Another thing that makes it difficult to believe is the fact the euro civic type r basically has the same 200 hp engine as the usdm rsx type s.

I don't know how light the ep3 is, but the CTR comes with the K20a which is rated at 220hp so it is 20 hp less than the S.
I still think the S would be a little faster with proper drivers, but I do think it would be very very close if the CTR is really 100lbs lighter than the S as they say.
BUT I WILL TAKE MY S ANY DAY OF THE WEEK OVER THE THE CTR!!!!!

Do the European AP1s come with traction control unlike the US models? He said he was going to leave it turned off??
Anyways, it sucks to live in a place with weather that forces you to race on wet roads the majority of the time. Results may have been different with dry roads. If not, oh well. I doubt I'll be trading up for a Civic anytime soon. That's the best thing about having such a well-rounded car that looks good. If something else is a bit faster, it doesn't really matter.
