AP1 NFR with ap2v3
I don't think TJ and the rest of the guys are hating. The answer is a definite no and they're just being honest. It doesn't look right based on the Photoshopped pic.
I think it's safe to say that the AP2v3 wheels look best (cleanest) with the stock finish.

i never really said they were hating, at least in the connotation that people carry with that word nowadays.... but it is a repeating pattern i see where people ask if they should paint their wheels this or that color, and usually people chime in with the same responses here... "stock wheels should stay stock" usually TJ
then someone "i agree"'s , etc. which i think is
i think the photoshop looks pretty good.
oh, and it can cost about 20 dollars, not hundreds, and look just as good and last for years, i have done it on multiple sets of wheels and for different cars. patience pays off when painting your wheels.
anyways, i'm just giving my opinion, and merely stating that all stock wheels don't have to, and shouldn't, stay stock. sometimes painted wheels look like doo-doo, yes... but sometimes they can add that extra touch of steez that a car needs.
[quote name='hess2ktouge' date='Dec 24 2008, 08:26 AM'] i don't think anyone has tried gold, and i think an NFR would compliment it pretty well. you cannot have a definite answer with an opinionated topic.
