The diameter of the AP2's wheel/tire combo is actually a little smaller than the AP1, IIRC...atleast up front.

The AP1's 205/55/16 is slightly taller than the 225/50/16 rear.

The AP2's 215/45/17 front is slightly shorter than the 245/40/17 rear.

I'll check out the actual diameter numbers at work today if I remember. They should be well within .25'' of each other, though. So no big deal.

cool that's the answer I was looking for thanks. I would get some springs but the suspension on this car is so damn near perfect I'm scared to mess with it lol.

AP1 Front = 24.87 inches - 205/55 16
AP1 rear = 24.85 - 225/50 16
AP1 rear with corrected size = 24.68 - 245/45 16

AP2 front = 24.61 - 215/45 17
AP2 rear = 24.71 - 245/40 17

Thread from the dead. Are the above numbers for OEM tires? Will such a small difference meaningfully affect the speedometer/odometer readings?

In short answer, NO, it won't make a big difference in terms of speedo/odo readings.

Seems in general that you'd want the overall diameter to be no more than 25" inches. Plenty of people have these tire diameter sizes of 225/45/17 and 255/40/17 wheels on their OEM 17's with no problems.

Correct, I run 225F 255R AP2V1 on my AP1 with no issues. Ride height and quality were the same as with stock AP1s. Having stock AP2s on an AP1 will make it ride like, well, an AP2.
