Apex Blue Pearl changes its hue depending on lighting conditions

Ok , since the grammar is important, i will rephrase

I have never seen an Apex blue S2000 up close, does the paint job include metal flakes or is it uniform, like the white color?

Next time I will take more time to do my grammar correctly. Either my question will be boring since it will be a straight answer, or it could end up like this one, entertaining!

Thanks for your time.

Up North (Canada), we have the S2000 2009 Apex blue, since the CR model was only made for the US. Honda gave us something... :-)

i agree with others in that apex blue has some metal flake to it so it has some shine versus being more of a flat color. it also looks very different in different light conditions.

i think it looks bad in pictures because the color looks flat, but great in real life.
