it doesnt countersunk but it feels shorter because the size. i also removed the stock lower nut that holds the stock shift knob. the knob screws all the way down..really close to the bottom treads

moyo:sure, ill let you know when i get it installed! i have that thing sitting at home..

i bought the knob from mike. it was on special $80..i think retail is around 100-120?

I think dave at randdmotorsports.com got one left. hurry!

actually i picked up the one at R and D for $80.00 a couple of weeks ago, but that was the one i talked about earlier in the post, that had the incorrect pitch, anyhow, i picked up one from the north american arc distributor, aerodyne, for a $100.00 shipped by boat, i'm still waiting for my prices for air freight, but from what i've been told, their prices were damn good on the ti strut bar i'm getting from them.

Sweet, what brand (ARC???) stb did you get & how much? Please post some pics when you get it if you can. I was about to buy the ARC tit stb in HK when I was overthere for vacation however, I couldn't justify spending $400 on a stb. Plus, I was worried it wouldn't fit if I ever go FI.

4IGS2000- if the shift knob is full titanium, why does it weight more than stock? as for the shift pattern, i like it, even imported a dc5 type-r knob to get those letters in red, as for being compared to ARC's, i like the feel of the of the sphere much better, and come on, you're missing one of the coolest things about the material, BURNING IT! and i'm sure your's would look pretty good if you did.

HondaGuy-ya the ARC strut was expensive, but it's the only titanium one on the market, i think, and from what i hear, ARC quality is unsurpassed, as for justification, i'm just being stupid and switching what i can out to titanium, from your signature, i see that you also have an amuse exhaust, you buy expenisve sh*t too! as for pics, i'll take some, along with their new ti radiator cooling panel, hopefully in 2 weeks, but you know how importing parts go

LOL, yeah I buy expensive shit sometimes too. I never actually saw the ARC tit stb, however as soon as I heard $400, I kinda freaked out. Plus, I didn't know if it'll fit w/the Comptech/Vortech s/c. I saw the ARC tit. intake thingie & dang, that's a beautiful piece of machinery. I luv titanium b/c it's the $hit!
