Bringing this one back form the dead guys.

Has anyone tried any other canards on the Amuse front bumper? I don't think that the ASM ones look that bad but really what I'm interested in....Is actually getting some good front aero.
I'm thinking about going to a rather aggressive rear wing so I'm looking for some front aero to balance out the aero package and increase my grip through the turns.

I'd like to find a simple solution that I can just bolt on vs having to make my own.

i like it in the 2nnd pic. why not tilt them more to flow with the lines of the "fake" lip on the bumper? it's still gonna chop throught the air, actually it seems like it would be more aerodynamic that way.

you know what i'm talking about? like, tilt them more so they are just at the very top of the slant on the "lip".

edit: oooohhh wow.

Looks are or should be of no concern when considering the aerodynamic abilities of the canards. If they end up looking good that just a plus. They are a functional piece (hopefully) and should be installed for additional aero.

Leave it as is, the Amuse front bumper is fine just the way it is IMO.

are u doing this to play with air pressure? or just for looks?

cuz those 2 places you placed them won't work to its fullest potential fyi.
the first picture will cause the air to gather, but once it is released, it will just wrap back around the bumper.
the second picture (the one that someone photoshopped to a lower position) will cause the air to gather, but once it is released, it will hit the tire and send the air into the wheel well and send some out.

u want to gather up the air (increase pressure as it collects/travels up the canards surface area) and release the air / pressure so that it creates a lower pressure compared to the pressure inside the wheel well. this in return will diffuse the turbulent air more consistently out of the wheel well. (basically creating a vacuum around the sides so that it leaves room for the air in the wheel well to come out and fill.
