I know the pics suck but I'll take some better ones with full body shots as well

They look great Greg but I was unable to use the gasket material that was behind the stock mirrors. Beacuse the carbon base plate was flat having the gasket behind it made the mirrors stick out past the door and the CF is so thick there is no way to bend it it to curve it to the contours...lol What do you recommend I use to seal them?

Sweet thanks Greg!! Yeah the two main problems were.

1) The OEM gasket was smaller than the CF plates so it could not wrap around it.
2) The top of the CF plate needs a small curve inward at the top (inward as in towards the car for it not to stick out.

ill email ya a pic of the old setup i had on my dc5. the oem gasket DOES work. trust me. my base was flat, same as yours. I have mike digging up an old mirror off his DC5 today already so i can repeat it again here if need be. if you cant get it to work ill just cut ya a flat gasket sheet like the craftsquare version uses.

Yeah i went back and tried the stock gasket last night but it would not work, the top portion of the gasket is too thick and causes the top of the cf base plate to stick out past the doors edge. A flat gasket like the Craftsquares would be fine.
