Looks like ASM puts their trust in Swift springs. Good to know!
they use KW shocks as well

The Damper we recommended was the KW Damper Kit. With the high speed stability which been tested on the Autobahn in Germany and the stainless body which is strong with rust makes it a strong damper which a street damper should be.

I was under the impression they use SACHS shocks?

Or did you mean they also carry KW shocks?

Kanayama-san has stated in the past blogs that they use the Mugen CF hardtop because there was no chance of perfecting it.

The Swift Springs were used once in 2005, since then they have switched exclusively to Hyperco spring with SRE (Sachs Race Engineering) dampers. SRE is different from SACHS like how Brembo Racing is a different division than Brembo.

mugen hardtop on asm car?
It's actually a one-off extra light single layer Mugen Hardtop specifically made for the Tsukuba special.

(don't believe me if u don't want) in general, it's lighter and thinner than paint, no need for wax. if they update the design, just remove the vinyl and apply the new design. I'm pretty sure gotuning or other ASM gurus / race car teams will know why.

i'm not sure if this is 100% buyable, but it is known (again, i'm not sure) that applying paint onto any composite will change the strength or something.
It is lighter to wrap the ASM Dry Carbon for a smooth surface. It takes quite a bit of filler and paint to get a nice smooth surface on autclaved pre-impregnated dry carbon because of all the pin holes from the lack of wet resin to fill it in. Applying paint will not change the integrity of ASM Dry Carbon, it may happen with other composites but not with this.
