Default Automotive Anatomy Interview: Mugen S2000

I recently went out of my comfort zone and in front of the camera for an interview about the current state of my car. I don’t get much exposure on my build as I don’t usually post my car anywhere but S2ki and IG and I don’t attend many meets or shows, but it was nice to get a video of me and my car immortalized on YouTube. In retrospect I wish I had talked more about why I chose certain parts and the stories behind them but oh well.

I had a good time chatting with Gus (channel owner) about cars and life afterward. He’s doing a cool thing by interviewing local SoCal car enthusiasts, including a handful of other s2000’s so go check out his channel if you can.

Added to my watch later list. I'll check this out.

Is it like a petrolicious for 'normal' cars?

Yeah just an interview about the car, a small history and what parts are on it. Obviously doesn’t have the cinematography if petrolicious but maybe if he gets enough views and subscribers he can get there one day!

Love the idea for the headlights! Getting a RHD passenger headlight for a US one to remove the blocker/adjusting limiter is a cool trick. Is there a way to just remove it from the US headlights?

I'm not wanting to blind people but being able to raise both a bit is helpful for such a low car compared to these Carolina Squatters around here

You should able to aim your usdm headlights to a high enough position I would think. I didn’t use just one RHD headlight or remove any blocker. I simply swapped over the chrome part of the headlight into a usdm ap1 headlight. I wanted the jdm look with the usdm functionality.
