Last weekend I went to Autosalon which was held @ the Sydney Olympic park - Some awesome cars with some very nice S2000's on show - I was actually surprised that there would be so many.

Sorry, not feeling any of those. These guys should've bought another car like a Merc or Cadi or something.

 

Hehe - They did look good from an effort prespective, I wouldn't personally do that to my S2000 though.

 

Is this a common thing for s2000's down under?? It's like they mod the S like some people mod the Civic here. IMO, the only cool thing about any of these is that they're right hand drive.

i can appreciate the work and effort gone into that type of modification...but why!??!?

 

why not just put some hydrolics in those s2k's and cruise down LA streets and listen to "Lowrider" bouncing

 

No, to be honest with you the only one that I've seen on the road was the yellow S2K with flames "pictured".

Most S2K owners here either keep their rides stock or subtly modify to make mods purposeful - Bling here in downunder is not very popular - The tuner community is the majority.

Autosalon would most probably be the most radical car show in OZ in my opinion, it attracts some over the top examples !
