Honestly I only like the ap2 better cosmetically. Thats one reason I got coilovers so quickly. The ap2's rear suspension is so soft it seems to take the fun out of it. Even with the coilovers I feel it still needs more sway bar in the back too. From what I remember the 2.0 was more fun to drive also.
