Very nice Spoon AP1,

I am ordering my Spoon Calipers tomorrow so I should get them in about 7-10 working days. My Spoon wheels should be here in another week as well. It should be ready for the upcoming car show. I may or may not enter. My friend is going to let me borrow his black hardtop for the show if I enter. So I will definitely get pictures for you guys regardless.
I cant hardly wait to get all these parts together.

Unfortunately, the media and police have gotten together and labelled it as "street racing". In certain parts of Vancouver, police have threatened to pull people over and ticket you for ANY visible modifications to your car. They measure everything from ride height to the decibel level of your exhaust... and yes, if they deem your wing obstructs vision and is "unsafe", they will get you for that too. This is unfair stereotyping. If you were to do a poll of all the cars involved in the high speed crashes, very few of them were modified at all. In fact, most of them were stock, high powered German sedans. But the media and police have used this as an excuse to crack down on modified cars. What a shame...

Here are some more recent pics of my car during Import Showoff Canada 2002 in Vancouver, B.C.

I posted them in another thread, but here they are again in case anybody missed 'em the first time around!

Enjoy!

Front view... it's pretty low, eh?

Rear view... check out the camber...

Tire is tucked under the fender at the front...

AND at the rear!

Me & Shamu...
