Default BawssFab/Enjoy Racing Helping Hands Tech Day :)

I had the privilege on Sunday to attend the Grand Opening of BAWSS Fab and Enjoy Racing. They have been open for awhile now but have finally opened their doors to the public and hosted a Helping Hands Tech day. Living in AZ is awesome because we have an enormous community that has easily 3+ meets a week. We have such renown shops as Science of Speed (SOS), Vivid Racing, Full Race, UMS Tuning and more. It is really awesome to have this new shop because it was started and is run by two of our community members that have owned their S2000's for a few years. When they started in the community they were always available to give a helping hand and offer up their experience and knowledge to us locals. They would always attend tech days and car meets and be the first people to offer a helping hand...free of charge. They are two of the most kind and considerate people and put in a lot of effort to make everyone happy and provide the best service at the fairest price. I know they have helped just about everyone in our local community at one time or another and never asked for anything in return. It is great to see them living the dream now and opening their own shop. The services that they offer are a wide variety of parts from the industries leading aftermarket companies, as well as having accounts with most major manufacturers. For this event they were stocked full of Honda OEM parts. Fluids, gaskets, and other misc engine components. They also stock Amsoil and other top of the line fluids. On top of the parts side of the business (Enjoy Racing) there is the BAWSS! He has been quickly making a name for himself locally with his amazing fabrication skills. Custom BMW exhausts, engine tucks/shaves, custom intercoolers and turbo setups. He is also working on a whole slew of custom turbo/supercharger kits for Toyota's, Mazda's and Honda. I expect to see some big things coming from them soon...

So I grabbed my camera, cleaned my car and met up with 2 other S2000's for a Sunday morning cruise to their shop. We had people coming in and out of the shop all day. I think we had over 25 S2000's attend throughout the day as well as a NSX and some people brought their daily drivers to work on. We did engine oil changes, transmission and diff fluid changes, valve adjustments, brake fluid flushes/bleeding brakes, springs, shocks, slave cylinder replacements and more. We had a grill with lots of food and had 2 TV's/PS3's with a GT5 tournament. The event was free of charge but they asked for donations to be made to the shop. The shop was trying to raise money for a local member that is going through some hard times right now and needs a clutch badly. All proceeds from the Helping Hands tech day were going to go to buying a new clutch for a local member. With every donation given you received a complementary T-Shirt and food/drinks. Fluid and parts were on hand and available for purchase. Shop space was first come first serve and we rotated cars in and out of the shop all day. The shop owners donated their entire day to lending a helping hand to anyone and everyone that needed help on their car or that wanted to learn how to do it themselves. On to the pictures.

They just moved in recently and were up at the shop working late every night trying to get the place straightened up for us. Its still a work in progress and I can't wait to see what they do with the space! Instead of your typical taking pictures of the cars in the lot I decided to wander around the shop and try to capture some of the cool stuff they have on hand and are working on.

They are. The offset's a 38-40, whatever the one it is that Enki commonly has for that sizing.
