So I was super bored and wanted to try something new with the car. I have seen some people do this and so I said what the heck, let's give it a shot.

Before people start flaming me for not doing it right i.e. powdercoat, i just want to say that I didn't want to go with a permanent mod. I wanted to be able to go back to the original.

anyhooo, the before is in the sig and below are the after pics. been driving for almost a week and no peeling-off. i've also washed the wheels a couple of times. not bad for a newb.

sorry for the crappy phone pics

Nice I like it, hopefully getting it back off the screws isn't hard haha.

To each his own, not really diggin' the matte black look. I just wonder how much of a b*tch its gonna be to strip off the Plasti-dip without harming the chrome and original black paint

^lol, that's what i thought at first but it's really easy to peel it off. you can't damage the original black paint or surface at all. seriously, check it out.

thanks for your comment though.

oh and it's possible to paint over this shit too! so for those wanting to try different colors, you can use plastidip as your base coat.

Looks awesome! I'll probably be plasti-dipping my wheels as well, at least for this season.

What are your specs?
