Mike, there's not much difference in weight

According to the BBS website

17x7.5 = 18.3 lbs.

17x8.5 = 19.06 lbs.

18x8 = 19.84 lbs.

18x9.5 = 20.68 lbs.

Plus you get the awesome lip for the rear due to the 9.5 inch width +55 offset

Get 18's, You definitely can't go wrong... I agree with what was said about the 17's, I think the lip makes them look way too small, unless you're going to completely dump the car.

The Silverstone next to mine has 17" LM's........17's just don't do them justice

can anyone give me a rough estimate on how much these wheels will cost me with tires.

and a rough estimate on a used set that i can wait for..

a gpw ap2 with a HT
