Not saying you rubbed hard, might have clipped the plastic piece and never known it, if you didn't rub you didn't rub, didn't matter to me just looked like the same dilemma I had where I didn't like rub hard or ever really even hear it, but I knew I clipped the liner becaues my clip was gone and I kept replacing it, no signs of rubbage on mine either.

a friend of mine on stock rims and stock height had the same fender liner problem as me..... the offset of the wheels must be wrong, honda didn't know what they were doing. he must rub like crazy
