alright gentlemen, want to keep ya'll in the loop. the rims i bought a week ago are Stern-Schmeide R16-S, rare wheels to the say the least. and ya'll know i'm an impulse buyer. so i bought them and now will have a third set of wheels including the OEM wheels yup, i'm a wheel whore.

anyways on to the pics!









as you can see the rims came to me pretty grungy so it's going to take some elbow grease and a bit of TLC to get it back to presentable.





and of course the obligatory placed next to the car test fit just putting them next to the car got me excited.

broke apart the rims and all 160 bolts and wire brushed off all the old silicone so right now want to get the lips repolished clean up the barrels and figure out what to do with the faces.

Hardtop, I would paint and leave the sides (most do that I know but it works) and not get the OEM ht, i much prefer yours.

New wheels look amazing! in the first pics i was like 'MEH', but seeing them against the car they look great! I would say gunmetal faces, or what about full polish?
