I know this guy personally. His dad Is the original owner of this car and first bought In the year 2000 when It first came out. This Is car Is In amazing condition. I have driven It with 241k miles and It runs like a brand new s2k. In fact I think even might run better then mine that I just bought haha. He takes care of his car very very well.

:backtopic: What (if any) problems have you had with the car over the years? Anything us owners with less miles should be aware of/look out for in the future?

Looks so good for her age...a "Cougar" if you will :p

abstracthomie 12-04-2009 09:17 AM

The Gent 12-04-2009 09:35 AM

More info on what was replaced -- if any.

AP1.5 12-04-2009 09:55 AM

I have a 150k mile MY01. I replaced the radiator, a bearing, and an axle. Hopefully, I won't have to replace anything for another 100k miles.

thanks strong man :tipwink: my badge from the front is from my friends nsx, but I think its the integra dc5 badge. As far as maintenance goes the car has been pretty much perfect. I have replaced both rear hub bearings at about 140,000 miles.. the rear passenger axle at 220,000 miles..replaced the TCT at about 120,000 even though it wasnt making noise..have done 2 valve adjustments..oil changes every 2,500 miles which is about every 2 to three weeks with either royal purple or mobile 1 10 W30 with an oem filter..and the transmission/differential at around 10,000 to 15,000 miles. I replaced the PCV valve at around 130,000 even though it was fine. The car is still on its original water pump and timing chain..and so far no leaks. I'm in my 3rd clutch already, but overall the car has been awesome, no complaints at all.. well what can you expect..its a Honda

 Nice, exactly the answer I was looking for!

ILUVTEC 12-05-2009 08:14 AM

I have an 05 with 62k miles, but I only had like 30k one year ago. With my new job I commute about 120miles a day. Combine that with other daily driving I must do around town, I rack up about 3k miles every 4 weeks or so, so I have to do oil changes very often as well. And since I am planning on keeping my car for the next few years and not moving closer to my job, I will start to accumulate miles fast! Should be at 200k in like 3.5 years or so at this rate.

cj0 12-05-2009 08:22 AM

120 miles a day? are you basically spending your paycheck on your gas or is the pay pretty damn good? :) lol

Distracted S2000 12-05-2009 08:34 AM

would love to hear how you drive it...want to know if you really ring it out and drive it hard...because that would be just amazing..how often does it see vtec on a daily basis..

Regpaq 12-05-2009 09:46 PM

the softop was replaced like 2 years ago or something. he drives vtec pretty regularly, but not tracked. his car is just a tank and well taken care of.

1FastS2k 12-06-2009 10:02 AM
