Well my car is a 2003 and I just took off the tape 7 days ago. First off you MUST heat it up a little. I used a hair dryer. After I warmed it up I started to peel very SLOWLY. It comes it 3 pieces. The sides are each one piece then you have the top piece. After your done peeling you of course will have the residue. I have heard alot of people using wd40, 3m adhesive remover.... etc. Those all SUCK becasue you put them on and it takes for ever to come off. Rub and rub and just a little adhesive comes off.

I used GOOF OFF in the metal container. Worked like a champ. I put some on a terry cloth and spread it over the adhesive and waited 3 minutes and it rubbed right off. Of course be careful not to get it on the rubber. After I was done I sprayed soapy water on the area and then waxed it. RIGHT AWAY!

I recorded the WHOLE process with my camcorder on a tripod. I will have a link to the whole job shorty. I feel if people see it being done on tape they can feel better about doing it and it will act as a guide.

Yes, underneath lies the stock color. As you can see mine is blue around the winshield where yours is black.
