Default Bimini Top

Since my original top imploded last year on the interstate, I decided to remove it. The fabric has separated from the front and tore back to the first hoop. I cut that out and started cutting around the window. I ended up with this strange bimini top thing. We laughed and took it out for a drive to see what it was like. Surprisingly, it was quiet and had very little wind buffetting with the rear missing and a giant sunroof up front. The strip over the seats kept sun off my head/neck and blocked the most wind after it left the windshield. I liked that I had top-down rear visibility (even on the sides) as well.

I will continue to tear it all out, but I thought it looked interesting enough to photograph and show to others. It reminded me of the Boxster Spyder with it's weird tent roof.

Reminds me of the Boxster Spyder top. If you had a section that could zip on and off, you'd be all set!

I was actually going to do this because I wanted the sun off my head but with the windows down and the back section out, it would feel cool

Then I heard once you unzip the back section your screwed....I changed my mind.
I like it though
