Hey Elistan,

I was looking at that car too and was trying to figure out if he just mounted his differently. I couldn't really tell from that angle, it just looks like he doesn't have one on. Man, there really must be a severe penalty for no front license plate in Japan. Wonder if they take your first born or something

Interesting that one of our Japanese counterparts wanted a US headlight. Guess his car will be the only one with amber corners.

Which bumper/lip is that on the third car from the left? I really like it. I think its the same one that was on the VGS car at the airport in Greg's pictures.

I was the guy importing amber headlight corners. A nice tradeoff for having my hotel bill covered. I know of at least 3 Japanese with the amber set. And the third car from the left looks like it has a J's Racing spoiler. The US distibutor for J's is http://www.racingcraft.com/js-products.shtml

Looks like $510. On backorderfor a few weeks. Cool, but I was in an S on Sunday with one and we did scrape pulling out of BackYard Special in Nagoya.

Interestingly enough, the red one at your "pictured here" link was the one I was in. The roll frame had a complete vertical plexi job and at 180 km/hr with the windows up, there was minimal wind buffeting in the cabin.

WOW Cool. Why can't they bring Monte Carlo Blue here, instead of Suzuka Blue?

These BLUE cars mean "Factory Reject"
You will notice, that through a terrible
assembly error, the steering wheels have
all been installed on the right side. The blue
color denotes this reject.

So...... no blue cars are released to the U.S.
