Civics and the likes w/o HID can get away with it. HID gets too hot for this film stuff

Actually, HIDs produce less heat (more efficent) then candescent bulbs. If HIDs do this to the film, it'll get really bad on cars that use the regular halogen bulbs.

Sounds like a lose-really lose situation as far as durability.

ive had mine on for about 3 months now. no fading, NO CRACKING! and No melting either. this is supposed to PROTECT your healights. Im sure if they did all these things that some people claim...they wouldn't be selling them! for lamin-x

and i dont think ill be able to get off work before dusk today. so i guess ill just have to post daytime pics tomorrow!

After reading PsychoBen's post, I took off one of the covers I had used on our fog lights on the RL and I have what I believe what is "Crazing". The outer edges of the light appear to have spider cracks in the lens!!

WTF!!!!!!!
